I replaced my first Divorce Attorney after they rolled over on all request made by the other council. I was Referred to Michael Smith and he TOOK OVER!I had a bad judgement based on hearsay, He corrected that right away! He listened to me go over everything and ask for what he needed only to save me the time and money. He found several mistakes by the other council and we went to court, I went from paying $1400 a month in Alimony to ZERO!!!Michal Smith Saved my behind and proved that she was lying the whole time!!One court visit was all it took for him to right the wrongs that had been placed on me and my kids.THANK YOU MIKE!!! Your the best and Ill tell everyone that!!!!

I represented myself "Pro-Per". Defending against petitioners council "Mike Smith". After 4 hearings, Mike Smith LOST his case. In my opinion, Smith lacks any type of courtroom Decore. I consider him to be rude, I feel he is childlike. I watched as he was condsending and he was in my experience disrespectful in court.  Surely must have Cost his client thousands of Dollars, countless hours, only to loose their case...It's in my personal opinion through my firsthand experiences in court with Smith that I render my opinion.Charles M

Mike Smith is by far the WORST attorney out there.  He doesn't deserve a single star.  If you want to lose $3,000 fast, hire Mike.  He has a great selling presentation, takes your money, then does little to nothing for you, which includes "NO COMMUNICATION!" I had to go to the Ventura County Records office to get copies of what little he did do.   Going "Pro Per" will get you far better results.  If you want someone who genuinely cares, who isn't curt, abrupt or condescending, move on to a different attorney.

Excellent attorney who I personally used in my own divorce. Super aggressive! I highly recommend him whenever someone asks me for a divorce attorney. He will not let the other party, or the other attorney, bully you.

By far the best lawyer I've come across! I contacted Mike to help me with a custody and child support modification and he went over and beyond. He is professional, caring and efficient the best thing was that he dealt with everything. He kept me informed and always had my best interest. I'm so glad I contacted him and I highly recommend!!!
