One of many section of the botanical gardens is one of the more flatter areas of the property bordered by South African to one side pepper trees In the middle and the Aloe to the other side it once had a barbecue pit and was area for that use before it has been re-purposed for the botanical gardens to have Events when side has the South American garden the other has the outdoor garden and to the far back is the water tanks and irrigation systems used to irrigate the botanical garden plants using recycled water from the city of Ventura and it is planned someday to have restrooms in some sort of a pavilion As more indoor space is needed and flat usable space is at a premium in this Garden I should look forward to it to come in this area As the gardens in and around Grant Park develop into work will be a world class botanical garden in our own backyard

One of Ventura County's greatest hiking experiences. Not as difficult as it might seem. Great for young n young at . Visiting frequently you can see the latest developments n lovely blooms n prickly friends.
