In October 2020 I started having ear problems/discomfort and between then and January 2021 was seen 4 different times at a few different urgent care facilities. I was given a referral to see Dr. Roos and was scheduled for February at which time I lost almost 100% of my hearing in both ears, and was in constant pain plus ringing in my ears was driving me mad since that was the only sound I could hear. On my very first visit his nurse assistant was absolutely the kindest, caring and thorough as she went over all my information. Dr. Roos diagnosed my situation and I was offered immediate relief as he started to work on my first ear tears came flowing from my eyes, not from pain but from relief and hearing clear sound that I hadn't heard in months.... and then the second. There had been some damage to my left ear but my right ear was cleared, I could hear and the unimaginable pressure/pain was gone. He listened to me, explained what he was doing and answered all of my questions with much respect. I had a hole in my left eardrum and we did a few follow up check ups and just recently the hole is healed. I have never been without my hearing and every day for months ( work, family, life) was a struggle almost crippling. A few weeks ago I went in for a follow up and to do a little more testing for the ringing still happening and I had to let Dr. Roos know how much I appreciated his skill and care so again with tears in my eyes I told him....My one and only daughter got married in April and the biggest gift I have ever received was to HEAR my baby girl say her wedding vows. This community is EXTREMLEY fortunate to have Dr. Roos as a ENT specialist in Tulare County and I would rate him MORE stars if they were available. TOP NOTCH care & skill & recommend him to anyone and EVERYONE!

Ive been having problems with my ears for 3 years now, after seeing several doctors and going several places I finally got a referral to see him and he knew what it was and treated me for it right away. One week after the initial appointment my ears are actually producing wax and I can finally hear

After my first appointment I was totally in awe of their care, concern and compassion. I had a ct scan and thyroid ultrasound completed prior to my second visit. Each visit consisted of my nostrils being numbed a camera being inserted in my nose to view ear nose and throat abnormalities. On the second visit, the assistant sprayed my nose with so much numbing agent that it sprayed into my eye and nearly gagged my throat. After several minutes, Dr. Roos came in, inserted the camera for approximately 45 seconds and said you are done. On the initial exam a spot was detected on my voice box which initiated the ct scan and thyroid ultrasound. He spent less than two minuted with me explaining that the spot was gone and the exams were negative for detectable problems. My nostrils remained numb the entire day. Yhat afternoon and the following day, II contacted the assistant and left a detailed voice message asking for a return phone call regarding Dr. Roos's recommendation for an upper GI. His office failed to return my call that day. I again called the following day with the same request and was assured by clerical staff that I would be contacted. It is now 4:00 on the second day following treatment and I have yet to receive a response from this office. They are unprofessional, unethical, dishonest and I would not recommend this office for treatment.....

I started trying to schedule an appointment in January after having tinnitus for 5 months. Finally got scheduled with Roos for April. I was looking forward to this appointment so much to hopefully be able to get answers. Tinnitus is an emotionally and mentally draining ailment. I cant fall asleep at night because its louder than the fan I use to try to drown it out. I am miserable! I had a family emergency which made me 5 minutes late to my appointment. They asked me to sit and wait for 12 minutes to see of the doctor would see me and then call me to the counter to tell me my appointment is canceled because he likes his patients in the room at their scheduled time. My registration papers were mailed to them in advance and he was still in with the patient scheduled before me, but yet I couldnt be seen! I am suffering after waiting months to get in because they were worried about a mere 5 minutes. Trust me, I completely understand how being late could set them back, but they could have put me in a room and done their normal routine during that 12 minutes that they waited for the doctor to come out of the patients room so they could ask if hed still see me. The lack of compassion was so disappointing.
