My partner and I have used Mrs. Mende's twice now, once for a Civil Harassment from a neighbor and once for a restraining order case. Both times Mrs. Mendes made the process so much better. She sent one letter and we haven't been harassed in over a year by the neighbor. We wanted someone that would be sensitive to the homophobic nature of the harassment and she handled the entire thing perfectly. We can't recommend her or her staff enough.

for not even 2 months of work on my case, $22500 in fees. They made is seem like they did so much work and it was such a basic case. Charged for things double triple times, because none of them even knew the status of my case at any time. Even opposing counsel mentioned they had know idea what they were doing especially with billing. Got no retainer back which I thought was illegal?? Also got charged for trust account replenishment which is NOT a bill I thought it was for work not yet done ?? Gave horrible legal advice which would have made a huge difference in my case if I listened to them. So glad i let them go

Ms. Weed also helped us with an IRS issue this year. We had sold a home we lived in for 17 years in order to downsize because of my husband's age and other medical issues. Somehow I neglected to fill out a page on TurboTax related to all of the expenses on this home we had built back in 1997, and the IRS sent us an invoice that took the wind out of our sails. If you have ever dealt with the IRS, you know you can't ever speak to the same representative twice. The only way to save yourself from paying back taxes, interest and penalties, if they aren't owed, is to hire an attorney like Ms. Weed to represent you. She is the best!
