** TO ALL NEW TENANTS AND CURRENT TENANTS ** This place is operated by a very dishonest and misleading manager. WALTER FLORIDIA. He will act like he is your best friend but when it comes to moving out he will do what ever he can to keep your SECURITY deposit. Upon moving out we returned the unit in excellent condition but yet we were charged excessive fees for carpet cleaning, unit cleaning, paint, patching etc.. - When we questioned WALTER about the charges he immediately said take me to court. Upon further research we found out he has been doing this to multiple tenants over the years. We could have easily proven our case in court and sued for 3 times the amount but with our difficult schedule we decided to let it go. Karma will have its way with people like Walter! ALL NEW TENANTS - STAY AWAY - during our period living in this building we had multiple water leaks and several occasion were we lost hot water. The walls are paper thin and good luck sleeping at night. Street noise plus dogs barking will keep you up all night. Finally for what they are asking in rent there are many places that offer better amenities and space. ALL CURRENT TENANTS - Be aware of Walter. Do not trust him. Record everything in detail before you hand over the keys!

@Heron I think you're talking about the wrong apartment building!!! I've been living here at the apartment complex for approximately 10 years and have no problem with the new management. Matter-of-fact!! The new management company has been the best management the building has had since I have been residing at the residence. Seriously, the Repairs are done ASAP without hesitation.  The management is very charismatic and accommodating. I've never heard Management asked anyone for $150 for anything or money.  Never scamming or asking anyone for extra money. Ive talked to all the other tenants and I've never heard of such a thing!! Honestly you shouldn't make up things about individuals because you  are  upset about a personal matter.Maybe you talking about someone else or the last management team before Alon WEST Hills!!Honesty the last management team wasn't as on top or efficient as  new team ( Alon West Hills).Before Alon WEST Hills, there was a big plumbing problem!!! The old management could never resolve and the tenets suffered because of this. They would send someone to do the repairs, however, it was only A temporary fix!!! Once Alon West Hills took over the plumbing problem was the first thing to be fixed!! I must say,Since Alon West Hills took over, all of the plumbing system has been phenomenal, even the DWP bill has dropped tremendously.The new management (Walter)is awesome and friendly in ensuring that the tenants are happy and safe. He has even put his own safety at when a couple of bad people not living here attempted get access to the building, Walter acted immediately and kicked the people off the property which caused an physical altercation that could've went very badly for him and his family. (Thank God, he and his family are OK) Since Alon West Hills has been here I have no more issues with my plumbing at all. When I contact management for repairs to be done ASAP and efficiently.The building is very clean and more significantly has a good security system.   Lastly, no one is telling me to write this I am doing it on my own!!!
