West Hills Preschool & Afterschool

A family member of mine enrolls their child here and I notice often they have a smile on whenever they get back. Basically I'm writing this review on behalf on the mother and their experience, and they have commented that the staff are kind-hearted and attentive people. From the curriculum to the various enrichment activities offered, there's a lot to keep students engaged and enjoying their time learning. Can't say that they've tried all the preschools out there cause of constraints, but from what I've been told this preschool is definitely worth trying if you're looking to help your child fall in love with growth and learning.

Update 2021After starting kindergarten, I enrolled my son in the facility's afterschool program. He has learned so much here both in preschool and afterschool. He is the only child in his kindergarten class who knows how to read fluently and it's all thanks to this place. The preschool set the bases for his reading and the afterschool is building on that. He is well above grade level in reading and comprehension as well as Math. For that reason, he is doing 1st grade level work at afterschool. I couldn't be happier. Both the parents and the child love this place!My 3 year old loves the school. He is always happy to go in the morning and doesn't want to let go of his friends and play-time at pick-up in the afternoon. At the end of every week we get the papers with their class work. There is also homework for the parents to work with them after school. The meals and snacks are a great plus aside from the very convenient tuition fee. The teachers are very devoted and show their love to each child. At the end of the day, his happiness is what shows that he is well taken care of and that's the most important thing for a mother.

Jennifer is a great teacher and an effective manager of the school. She listened to me very patiently and helped me decide the right curriculum and activities (example Yoga) for my daughter. The school has a diverse set of students and teachers who speaks different languages. This is a great platform where children can learn and make friends from different cultures, and teachers equally encourage this environment. I will recommend this school with no reservations.

The school does not take account for their actions but instead makes excuse and cover up their actions. my child was snatched by the headteacher and my review is based on my personal experience from this school PERIOD! I've asked for my child's paperwork to be returned and have been waiting on a call from director to let me know when ready.no reponse.My child has type 1 diabetes and there was no accommodation for my child needs.My review will stay as it's the unprofessional experience I received while attending and I will share it for others to be inform when selecting a school for my child.As so paperwork which I clearly did turn in , it was stapled to homework the teachers say the review to know our child growth in the work they learn in school which is a complete lie cause if it was true than I would had found paper work with home work .PleAse view photos So if this school actually cared about our kids educational growth . Than as the teacher would of seen paperwork which I clearly turned in. Like I said please do not reflect you poor behavior and make it seem like I'm make false statements when I have proof of all my reason of pulling my child out.Let's not forget the lack of accommodation for my. Hold with disability. Cause I could file a complaint.... Be accountable of your actions !

My 2.5 year old (at that time) started this year in January and had at that time only 5 words. 6 months later he had at least 100 words. He made such a improvement thanks to Jennifer and Olga. They are both amazing with the kids and they learn so much. My 3 year old can the full ABC and count till 20 now. Unfortunately, we have moved a couple of weeks ago. We have to find another school now. We are so sad. But I highly recommend this pre and after school in West Hills.
