I bought a solar system from Volt Modern Roofing and Solar. They were able to provide excellent and timely feed back, education, and answered all my questions. It was easy to get through to their office. They made me feel like I was valued not only as a perspective customer but as a person. They listened and offered suggestions without pushing or high powered salesmanship. It was validating to be heard. The products are highly rated; the staff professional and efficient. I feel confident that I have received the very best that I can afford and know that they will be there for any repairs or service on the solar units if needed. Buck Wilcox. CEO, was actively involved with every phase of the project from initial projections to the final inspection. He returned my calls and was available I felt valued and appreciated. In addition to that, I felt like I got The backers dozen with good will, minor roof repairs and a consultation that was given freely. I researched companies for several days before reaching out to a few for quotes. Not only was Volt Modern the fastest to respond, they also ended up being the most reasonably priced company. From start to finish, Buck and Pat were efficient, great communicators, and incredibly thorough. The team that came to replace the roof were friendly and hard workers, and got the job done faster than anticipated. Our property was cleaner after the roof was finished than before they even started!! Professionally done, reasonably priced. We had a great experience with Volt Modern Roofing and Solar. We needed to fix our roof in Kings Beach, CA (the roof was old and had leaks). They gave us a great quote, great time estimates, and kept to their word throughout the entire project. I would highly recommend them to others. Also, a special shout out goes to Memo, who was the first person to arrive in the morning, and the last person to leave at night... they powered through, in spite of the excessive wind and smoke they encountered during their work days. We're definitely happy we decided to go with Volt Modern Roofing and Solar - thank you! (9/30/21) We called Buck after our tenants had informed of us of a leak following a snow storm. Buck was very quick to come look at the problem and determined it was not a problem with the roof, but was actually a problem with the way the water would wick around the edge of the roof, into the wall, into a crack, as the snow melted. In spite of this not being related to the roof, he helped us fix the leak anyway, giving us recommendations for how to better fix the problem moving forward. We much appreciated Buck's responsiveness and willingness to help us out in a pinch, for a problem that was not his to solve. Volt Modern are amazing. They stepped into a solar project that was abandoned by a fly by night solar company and went above and beyond They reviewed the plans, came up with a fixed estimate, then worked hard to deliver exactly what was promised! I have a 21kwh /yr system that is now connected to PGE and working to get our house green. 1. During implementation - they had to drive several times from Sacramento to Bay Area to complete the job without any complaints 2. They worked with me while inspector was on the ground - step by step to clear tough inspections 3. They walked me through the tedious PGE interconnection agreement! 4. They helped me get online with my inverter company (Solar Edge) so I can track the health and production of my system.. Id recommend Buck and his team anytime!!
