Met with Shelby this morning and she was so genuine and incredibly helpful with coordinating our wedding flowers. She helped with brainstorming and leading me in the right direction. Im beyond excited to see what we continue to work on come to fruition!

I could not have been happier with the service, and flowers provided by Bitterroot for my wedding. The bouquet was literally everything and more than I could have imagined, and I ended up sending it out to be pressed/ preserved so I can have them forever.

We unfortunately used Bitterroot studio for our florals as they were a preferred partner with our venue. To outline our experience, its worth noting how much prep and time we put into this pre-wedding. We drove an hour north for our first planning meeting with them where we discussed in depth all the details like start time, types of flowers, things we wanted to upgrade and remove, etc. Several weeks later we have another follow up meeting and confirmed all these details about 30 days out. 10 days out we once more had a phone call and confirmed all the same details that were outlined in the proposal and contract, including start times and venue location. Also worth noting, we barely had any changes from our initial meeting, almost all details stayed the same the entire time. Seems like wed all be on the same page, right? Fast forward to the wedding day and Bitterroot is a disaster. An hour goes past their promised arrival time, and theyre still not at the venue. 30 minutes to the ceremony and throughout all pre-ceremony photos, no flowers. We had no communication from Bitterroot on what the possible issues here were and the only information we could get from the venue was that this company had a mix up on their end. Finally, after all our guests have arrived and were prepping to have the ceremony, these folks decide to show up. Frustratingly our ceremony had to be delayed 20 minutes to allow enough time for this company to setup the flowers on the arch and get the boutonnieres and bouquets to the respective people so we could get at least a few photos. We made a point to try and knock out as many photos as we could before the ceremony so now 90% of our photos with both parties and families had no boutonnieres and bouquets. Thankfully we didnt have flowers on the chairs or in the aisle or else I fear we would have been delayed even longer, cutting more into our cocktail hour. For the reception, we had purchased an upgraded cascading flower centerpiece that was designed to drape down our sweetheart table that we also did not receive and was given the standard centerpiece. The lack of care on a follow up from Bitterroot management on this experience is laughable and we still have not received an apology. After we had to complain and reach out, they texted us and said they would call us on a particular date upon our honeymoon return that they then proceeded to miss and never reached out. Once we followed up again, the only apology we got was for missing the call (not about the flower disaster still) and were still waiting for a follow up. While the flowers that did eventually arrive looked nice, I could absolutely never recommend this company to anybody especially for something as important as a wedding.

This place is absolutely awful. We were supposed to use them since we had our wedding with Wedgewood, but they were by far the worst part of it. They changed the proposal from what I had agreed to, signed it themselves because their system was down when I went to pay, and then tried to overcharge us because they changed the proposal without any approval from us. They were were awful the day off as well. They tried to deliver the flowers to the wrong location, took shortcuts on many pieces, including a piece that was supposed to be 3 x 2 ended up being 1 x 1 on the arch. We also gave them pretty free range with flowers, and only asked that they not use one specific flower and one specific color. Guess what the substitution was. The color we told them we didnt want in the flower we said we didnt want. Trying to get a reasonable refund has been an absolute nightmare. Were going to end up taking them to small claims court because they have just stopped responding all together. I would highly recommend, even if youre with Wedgewood, find a different florist. Youll probably end up saving money anyway.

Brides beware! Your first thought when you see your flowers on your wedding day should NOT be "They brought the wrong flowers." Bitterroot's front office is a disaster--their communication is awful, the portal doesn't work so adjustments to the initial contract are never made, they don't keep notes about preferences (or things that should be avoided) so when last-minute substutions need to be made they use the very thing you asked them not to, and the worst part is that after it's all said and done, they don't seem motivated to fix anything. The attitude seems to be that since you won't be needing wedding flowers again, you're no longer a potential customer so they don't care. But they're very happy to cash your very large check. Such a huge disappointment.

Business Response on Google Feb 20th, 2024
We are sorry you had this experience. We completed our delivery five minutes before ceremony scheduled time also our delivery window of time for set up. There was a clerical error on our end with the start time. Once we realized this error we quickly delivered items to you all and took additional staff with us to insure start time was met. We were unable to speak with you on our scheduled time due to a family emergency. Our office hours have delayed our response as we are closed for the weekend. We did express our apologies to you in person at the venue and continue to express our sincere apologies.
