The owner told me that they do not require a Deposit down and that my mother in law voluntarily gave him 1600 dollars for a "Non required Deposit" only cut parts of one tree and tried to charge her an extra 533.60 for the "work that they Did" they did not have the tools they needed to complete the job kept giving the run around

REALLY bad communication and lack of follow through. I have used Gardner for years to treat my ash trees. This year I had some issues with treatment service and billing, but overlooked that and contacted them back in May for comprehensive damage mitigation and pruning of multiple trees following this spring's snowstorm. I awarded Tom and Gardner the contract but had great difficulty getting them to commit to a date. Finally, in early July, they agreed to a late August date. As the work was extensive, I took off of work, as did my next door neighbor, and I arranged power line drop with Xcel. An hour before they were supposed to show up, they cancelled. VIA EMAIL , which I fortunately saw shortly before Xcel was to show up, otherwise that would have been a $200 charge. Never called, although I requested a call. Unbelievable lack of communication, my trust is destroyed. Don't use them for anything big.

Ive used this company for 4 seasons with a steady decline in my lawns quality and appearance. It started off with a solid sales pitch and explanation of high quality products but with each season the clover and/or oxalis, dandelion, thistle and general weeds continued to flourish. When brought to their attention it was handled as if I was annoying them but was informed they would take care of the problem by using a pre emergent at the beginning and end of the season. That was 2 full seasons ago and my yard has more clover (oxalis) than I do grass and it looks worse now than before they started. I tried to amicably handle the situation to no avail. I recently discontinued their services and received a cookie cutter we respect your decision response with an invoice attached and no apology or proper solution. I now am left with a yard full of weeds and back to square one in finding a lawn service to help control these weeds and provide a healthy lawn. Service: Weed control
