Terrible. Impossible to get an appointment. The doctors and front desk are rude and dismissive when you're simply asking questions. I was desperate for help while struggling with serious covid complications, instead the receptionist told me I needed a 'real' reason to schedule an appointment. The last straw was an appointment with Dr. Dorotik in September - I left crying. Truly disappointed in this practice - I've been a patient for years.

Optum take overoffice has gone downhill. Lost 7 docs. A few good ones left but not looking good. Best to find another alternative.

I have been a patient of New West Physicians since I was a child, and now I am bring my own family here, so over 34 years. In all these years I have never, ever, had issue until Optimum took over the office. Not only have all the doctors and nurses started to leave, now the office staff is leaving. And it is being left in the hands of folks that don't know the patients, or how things have been run for YEARS in the office. It's a shame for all the elderly folks and those with extensive health issues having to start over and find new care with either a new physician and/or a new office all together. You will be nothing but a number and dollar amount with New West Physicians, so essentially with Optimum.

Since Optum took over things are much much worse in an already busy healthcare environment. At various times throughout the day, you can routinely expect to hold for 30 mins or more for anyone to actually answer the phone with no option to leave a message. If you need an appointment, you'll need to wait 1 to 3 weeks, so you had better hope it is just a routine visit and not ugent. Also be aware that if your health insurance is United, Optum is a subsidiary (strikes me as antitrust), seems like it's turning into a Kaiser model. I would guess people who choose United want options, not another Kaiser. It appears this practice's doctors are leaving and I can see why. I liked my doctor a lot and was super excited to have a doctor's office near my home but I believe will have to look elsewhere, it's been months and still 30 plus minute wait times on the phone and extremely booked out appointments is just not something I have time for.

Every since the office was taken over my Optum it is nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone in the office. When trying to make an appointment via the phone, the wait time is a minimum of 30 minutes - usually longer. I've tried to make appointments via the portal and get told there are no available appointments. Emails sent via the portal aren't responded to. How is someone supposed to take care of their health if they can't even get in touch with the office or any medical staff there.
