    I had my car towed here after it broke down, Zack and Cameron were so nice from the moment I dropped it off. Turns out I needed a completely new engine, and instead of pushing me to spend the money with them they recommended I put that money towards a new car. They were super knowledgable about the car brand I have having a lot of issues, and they gave me recommendations of places that might buy my car for parts. They have our business going forward!

    Avoid this shop at all costs. I took my car in to get some work done about a month ago. When I returned and told a friend who is more knowledgeable about cars exactly what work they did, and what they charged (close to a grand for patching a couple leaks and fixing the spark plugs) I immediately walked away with this sense that, okay, maybe I got ripped off, but at least my car is in good working order. At the point of purchase, I was charged an additional 130 dollars in labor, after expressing that we had reached about the highest price point that was manageable for me at that juncture. After a few weeks of standard commuting as a driver, I was in the parking lot of a grocery store, when the wheel came plain off the axel. I am now very upset, as this was relating to a noise made in the front of the vehicle, which I asked about, but the shop failed to address. So after "fully diagnosing" my vehicle, and further overcharging me for minor repairs, these guys let me drive around for a month with a deteriorating axel that they failed to diagnose or mention. Not only did I already overpay these guys, forking over money I now need to make this repair and don't have, I am presently staring at a Honda Accord sitting on 3 wheels, not 4 weeks after these guys ripped me off. Go a block or two south east and go through one of the small, locally owned mechanics off Lamar. This place is an absolute joke, and I will never bring a vehicle here again, and will encourage my friends to do the same. Additionally, while this shop replied to this comment to make themselves look good to anybody who may be browsing these reviews, they never ACTUALLY reached out to me via call or email or anything like that to try and make this right. The response received to this email was not actually the shop reaching out to put the customer first, it was the shop covering their own a** by making it look like these steps were being taken.

Hi Charlie,I am sorry to hear about the axle failing after it left our shop. Safety to our customers is paramount to anything to us as we never want anyone to get hurt and feel safe. It is never our intent to over charge or rip anyone off. Over our 30 + years in business, we have always been fair priced with quality work. Hence, how we've been so successful in the community for so long. We have always stood by all our our work and will continue to do so for many years to come.In our defense, we were told to diagnose your leaks as the vehicle was smoking from the engine compartment. We did find the valve cover gaskets leaking very bad, as well as the power steering pump leaking. We did repair 1 of the 2 of those issues. We did provide pricing in advance and you approved all repairs prior to being performed. Our pricing on those repairs are competitive to other shops in our area and the work was done correctly. After repairs were completed, we did test drive your vehicle and did not hear or feel any issue in the front of the vehicle. Should we have inspected the entire vehicle, YES. Especially an older vehicle with 221,422 miles on it. That is not like us to miss an issue like that. I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations and would be more than happy to speak with you about this issue and see how we could resolve this to your satisfaction. I will be reaching out to you today to speak with you as my customers have always been my top priority. Best Regards,Zack
