        The kill your lawn garden box pickup in Erie was terribly designed, the line of cars stretched into the road and forced hundreds of drivers to idle while they waited.

        I love the idea of this place. I have found some good deals and donated quite a few items over the years. Although on multiple occasions I have had workers on the donation line snap at me for the items I brought to donate. One worker in a condescending tone said, we are not a junk yard. Recently I went there on a day no one was around, I thought maybe on lunch or something. I sat for a minute and then opened my trunk when around the corner came a dude yelling aggressively and took a photo of my car and said he was calling the police for illegal dumping! The dude was unhinged, pretending he on the phone with the police before even listening to me. I emailed them about the situation but they didnt respond. Please treat your community better, we are dropping off items to be reused and sold. I will be taking my donations elsewhere so I dont get yelled at or arrested for false accusations!

Resource Central also supports a sharing economy through our Tool Library. With many partners in the building community, Resource Central plays an integral role in the support of green building practices through our Deconstruction Services. Co-located with Eco-Cycle’s CHARM program, a mission-aligned partner who is one of the largest nonprofit recyclers in the U.S., Resource Central provides a full complement of sustainable services for the building trades, homeowners, makers, and DIYers of all types.

We apologize for the long wait times at the pickup event in Erie yesterday that did not align with our normal operations. We were unexpectedly understaffed at this event and that caused unusual delays. We have taken steps to correct this.
