In an over saturated market of van outfitters and builders, the Vansmith stands head and shoulders above them! We are READY for winter. I've done some DIY work to my van. Nothing mechanical or plumbing. Just floors, walls, ceilings insulation and finishing, bed framing, and organization. So many van outfitters wouldn't even give me 30 mins to discuss what my desires were -- in this case, simply hooking up a heater that is capable of altitude, hooks right into my fuel tank and is capable of being powered by my existing EcoFlow Delta Pro. The Vansmith not only invited me to swing by and discuss the options, they provided me with excellent insights, let me know their limitations AND abilities and also gave me a lot of help with future DIY ideas. They also simply just offered to help for anything. It was refreshing. They are down to earth and understand that not every van is an instagram influence, but it's also a personal project. They aren't just churning out cheaply made vans and parts/services at a high price. They did excellent work and I will absolutely use them again to help with projects, even ones I was planning on DIYing, I can actually feel good about maybe just having them do it instead!

I have a 2017 Sprinter in which The Vansmith installed an Espar Heater under the passenger seat last winter. The installation was expertly done and the heater has worked great.... ....until last week. I ran into an issue with my battery and this seemed to cause a failure with the heater. I called Vansmith and spoke to the very pleasant Alana. She (and John) were kind enough to email me an Espar troubleshooting guide. This unfortunately didn't solve the issue but John followed up with a phone call, and we had an excellent troubleshooting session. John was patient and we were able to find and clear the error codes. Once this was accomplished the heater began working immediately. I cannot thank The Vansmith, Alana and John enough for their invaluable assistance!!! You all rock most hard. Thanks again!!!

We purchased a van in Boulder Colorado. A used 2018 RAM Promaster. We ask Van Smith if we could bring it by for them to help us get more familiar with the van and its history. They could not have been nicer. Becca (director of sales) set up a time for us to meet at our convenience on the days that we were there. Aaron Haack the owner of the company and founder who originally built the van when he was just getting started, spent nearly an hour with us going over all the details and operation. The company is growing and he is very busy. It was generous of him to meet personally with us until we were comfortable with all the details. If you want a well constructed van, and a knowledgeable team that is willing to work with you contact VanSmith. They have large complex build outs, but we wanted a small simple van, and this van is perfect for us. They care about your experience.
