We needed some grading done on our property due to the impact of heavy rainfall this Spring. Mike understood it was urgent and came out immediately to evaluate the situation. He offered several solutions and estimates for each solution. He came out to complete the project on the weekend due to the urgency of the situation and his inability to come during the week as a result of prior commitments to other larger projects. Mike was honest, fair, and communicative during this process. If we need a service completed that he can offer in the future we would certainly utilize Avalanche Excavating again!

A couple years ago, I needed to weigh my tow vehicle and travel trailer (including its tongue weight). Another company suggested an incorrect way to measure the tongue weightweigh the truck and trailer together, then calculate it, which can't be done that way because the trailer has to be disconnected. (I think they suggested that so I didn't take up so much time on the scale.) I was already on the scale so I weighted the rig and paid full price so I could get out of there. Then I went to Avalanche. The ladies were very accommodating, telling me they would help me do whatever I needed, and to take all the time it required. I got my weights (including just the tongue weight) and was charged a more than fair price. Yesterday, I needed to weigh a new truck/travel trailer combination, so I went back to avalanche. And the ladies and I got to chat a little bit. It turns out they truly appreciated my efforts to make sure my rig was safe on the road and, because of that, the price was more than fair. They really cared. And they are quite entertaining to boot. Thank you, ladies!
