Vegetable garden came out nicely but was not at all what was involved in the initial estimate nor the pictures sent to the company. Foreman who took notes wasn’t even on our job site till the fourth day. Irrigation was tied into a zone that couldn’t handle it which required another company to repair at my expense and all of the sod they put down died. Two emails one phone call and two texts never responded to. Choose another company!

Beautiful work! I would highly recommend Zephyr! Louis and the team helped come up with a beautiful design for my backyard. High end results with affordable pricing. Thanks again!

I do not recommend that you hire Zephyr for a landscaping project. We hired them for a backyard project last August and had several issues for which the owners did not hold themselves accountable. I will highlight two of them. 1. On day 1 of the project, their team of 8 people drank 36 beers throughout the day in our back yard and left the empties behind. On top of that, they pulled the ground wire from our electrical box which disconnected wiring inside the box. Instead of immediately bringing an electrician to fix the issue, the crew attempted to fix it themselves and failed. After I alerted one of the business owners about the issue the same person who tried to fix the electrical issue earlier in the day (not an electrician) came back and tried to fix it again. Eventually they did bring an electrician out to fix the damage that had been done. 2. Our contract with Zephyr states that they would install a custom ‘smooth formed concrete’ fire pit (price $3700 not including gas line) and also states that any design changes would be approved by both parties. Without consulting us, they installed a fire pit made of cinder blocks and coated with stucco. The stucco never dried and after a failed attempt to re-apply it, Louis (owner) tried to have someone put a skim coat of mortar over it. The mortar fell off. Louis stopped responding to us and eventually stated that he had another idea to fix the issue but then stopped responding to us again. After approximately 5 months, eventually Louis stated that he would prefer to give us a refund for the fire pit and handed us off to his financial representative, Campbell (co-owner). Campbell apologized for the issue and then immediately began to ignore us. After several months of trying to get Campbell to commit to repayment, he finally did commit and we came up with a repayment schedule. Campbell made one payment of approximately 25% of the amount owed, failed to make the second payment, then began to ignore us again. Two weeks ago, Campbell made a payment for another 25% and committed to paying the remainder last Friday. Campbell failed to make that payment and began ignoring us again. Yesterday we were told that they don’t plan on making any more payments because they don’t have any money. The owners of this company are extremely disrespectful and try to deflect blame instead of taking accountability. I have wasted countless hours trying to get them to fix or reimburse for their poor work on our fire pit. As stated in another review, working with this team feels like babysitting. There is a pattern of poor work, deflection, ignoring, apologizing that has repeated itself multiple times on our project. They clearly don’t care about the quality of their work or their customer. Please save yourself the pain and agony of babysitting these adults. Them demanding money even though the job isn’t done. Consistent rude and unprofessional behavior. They feel entitled to your money despite the quality of their work and if you try to hold them accountable? Just save yourself the stress. Seriously. They at one point wanted payment after they flooded a portion of my backyard because of their suspect work. It went so poorly at this job that the crew that worked on it was fired afterwards. They also specialize in placing blame so hopefully, you yourself know a lot about landscaping because if you rely on their expertise, they’ll do it the cheapest/easiest way and when something goes wrong they look at you like that’s what you asked for. Based on the previous higher rated reviews, they maybe are better to work with on smaller projects that don’t have as many moving parts, but if you’re paying for a big overhaul, your money is better spent elsewhere.

No stars form this family, They have all our money and job not complete. Very unprofessional as their own employees were arguing about the job on the first day, should of been our first sign not to use them . Had to constantly clean up after them when i got home from work so people could walk down the sidewalk. Left our street and driveway covered with oil form machine they were using. Installed the wrong trees we ordered, placed them wrong in the yard. Had to keep calling them to see if they were coming back. Broke a window down stairs when installing rock in driveway, did not bother to tell us and then when we found it had to keep calling them to fix it, still not fixed. Could keep going and have pics of all complaints. Just better off not using them.
