City Square Apartments

There are better places for the same price in the metro area please keep looking. This apartment complex is a nightmare. Neighbor kids banging on you window looking straight in yelling at your dog. Horrible bug problems. Horrible plumbing issues. Name any problem you have had with a rental they have it here. I usually dont bother with reviews but I just cant live with the guilt and shame I would feel if I didn't try to help people looking at this apartment. It has been the worst place I've ever lived and I regret not taking these review seriously.

Horrible customer service. Never return calls about trying to live there. Unanswered emails over and over again. Not accommodating at all. Must not need anyone to move in. So I can only imagine when you live there.

My friend and I lived at this apartment for 2 years and it was 2 years too long. It is a revolving door of incompetent people who have no idea what they are doing and who think that are "making change" and "better things are coming" BS. Plumbing issues with maintenance coming days later. The pool is always filthy and the neighbors are so loud, esp during summer. Can't tell you the amount of drug deals I've witnessed in the back parking lot and end of Kearney street, drive by shootings in the back and cops there just watching the property. This place was nice for the first couple of months but now it is so unsafe and the staff are so clueless and can't be bothered with actual issues because they just sit around all day listening to music.

I got a lease for 6 months. When moving in the place was not cleaned at all. There were dirty boot marks everywhere. Was told that if I wanted to break the lease I would need to let them know 2 months in advance. Turns out, I have to let them know 2 months in advance AND pay 2000$ fee if I break the lease. Stay away from these guys. They get you with the low move in costs, they usually have some sort of move in special. Guess what? THEY ALWAYS HAVE THE SPECIAL. And then its essentially impossible to break the lease. Cancer.
