It really makes a difference when you have a stylist that listens to your needs and is able to accommodate them! I've been struggling with some changes that have been happening with my hair and to walk away Feeling and actually seeing improvements is wonderful. My happy place.... I have been a long time customer of 3C, now Uplift Salon and Spa. The salon has a nice friendly vibe that makes you instantly relax when you walk through the doors. I can't say enough good things about my hair stylist Chris! Can I leave a 10 star review? He gets me & more importantly gets my hair. He is a true artist of his craft! There is not a question that you can't ask him about your hair, the texture, the science, how it moves, works in humidity when traveling etc...Most important is the way you feel when you leave. I get soo many compliments on my hair! My hair is long & naturally curly so I love having it blown out straight. Recently Chris added a few highlights to frame my face. People I didn't even know were stopping me to say how gorgeous my hair was, even the 20 year olds! Wow! Nothing better than a Chris hair day...

Updating my review... first off stylist Chris is the bomb, my hair has never been healthier. Megan is equally amazing with eyebrows, and she is so fun to chat with. And today I got a phenomenal massage from Leslie. Uplift Salon is aptly named, a salon run by happy people who make it their job to make you feel good in your body. It is almost awkward how much I love them! One thing about the gentrification of Sunnyside that doesnt bother me is Uplift Salon (formerly Three Cutters). Love having an Aveda salon within walking distance of my house. Ive been through four or so hair stylists. Usually I would be bummed about having to switch stylists, but theyve all been fantastic. This place employs gifted stylists. On the rare occasions that Ive gone elsewhere (only because they cant fit me in and Im desperate), they usually end up having to fix mistakes or bad cuts received from other salons. Chris totally rocked my haircut today and gave me a beautiful blowout. Megan as per usual gave me a lovely eyebrow wax and dye. They make this aging broad feel young again! Service: Haircut

I had the best experience at UpLift today! I got my brows laminated by Jenna and she did an amazing job. I also needed a quick fix on my haircut, which the hair stylist was so sweet to help me with! On top of everything, it's such a cute salon! 10/10 recommend :)
