We hired Rex to DJ our wedding in the Denver area. We provided Rex with all of our playlists for the day, including playlists we intended him to play through for the reception and dancing. Unfortunately something must have gotten lost in translation because Rex didnt play the selected music for the prelude and didnt go through the playlists quite like we imagined so we didnt get to hear all the songs we had picked out. However, all of our guests had a wonderful time and the dance floor was packed the entire night. We also got a lot of compliments on the music, and as electronic music enthusiasts it meant so much to us to hear our favorite EDM songs as we danced the night away. Overall Rex is a great wedding DJ and MC! I would definitely recommend his services despite our playlist mixup.

Our experience with Rex at Discosapien was lackluster. A couple of reasons we are giving three stars. The positives to start 1) he showed up on time 2) he djd our reception relatively well Negatives 1) he was hard to find all night. He was rarely near the Dj booth, - we wanted to enter our cocktail hour early and for 20 minutes no one could find him. 2) during dinner, he played the same 5 songs on repeat 3) he did not follow the timeline that was given to him 4) he was often caught at our bar 5) side note: I wanted to keep my processional song a secret from my fianc which I repeated to Rex several times at the beginning of the call, not even two minutes in, he told my fianc the song. He didnt apologize at all even when I explained to him that he just told him. Overall, we would not recommend. It is really disappointing to find you DJ MIA or often at the bar.
