Edison is run by a committed group of Administrators who care deeply about the students and are laser focused on academic achievement with a strong community and family engagement foundation. We have absolutely loved the teachers approach and appreciate the organization of the PTA and the associated events they organize.

My 20 month old son and I were at the park during Edison's 5th grade "outdoor day". A little boy named Gabe came over and asked to play with my son. He was amazingly kind and showed my little one that big kids aren't so scary and can be cool. After awhile a group of Gabe's friends joined- It was the cutest kindness thing ever! The teachers were great with their students playing basketball and very much involved. Everyone involved in this kiddos life is obviously doing a fantastic job and this kiddo deserves a shout out! Thanks Gabe for being a fantastic human being at such a young age! You made our day!

My niece, who's biracial, came over this weekend. I always ask about school and it broke my heart when she stated "I feel like I'm being treated different because of my skin color." She's more tan in skin tone and we've NEVER had a conversation with her about race issues so I'm not even sure where this has come from. She loves school and asked if she can miss school until she could be switched to a different school. She also stated her teacher made her stay inside to finish work, that I'm wondering about how she was behind and not others anyway, and then told her to just sit there until recess was over once she was complete. I've never known her to cry to miss school because she feels "different ".
