David responded to my first inquiry. Scheduled a visit/estimate within 2 days. Job scheduled within a couple days and completed within 2 weeks at our convenience. Work on about 1000 sq ft of white oak flooring and staircase. The floor looks amazing, work was quality and the price was competitive. Job was excellent, job site cleaned daily. Ive had a great experience working with David at Triple Diamond Flooring. He has now completed two projects on my 100+ year old historic home. He is very professional, honest, trustworthy, caring, and reliable. His attention to detail is top notch. He is a straight shooter who you can trust, kind of like those rare good auto shops who will tell you what you actually need to do, and not just what they want to upsell you for. The first project he completed was installing new hardwoods on top of existing hardwoods that were too far gone to repair. He took the time to go back and forth with me about the different options and their costs (which by the way, were very reasonable), and we came to the best solution together. For example, the cost to replace a carpeted staircase with new hardwood was out of my budget, so we got creative and he was able to refinish the underlying wooden treads for much cheaper. It turned out awesome!
For the 2nd project, I had a dishwasher leak that caused water damage (cupping, bowing) on my hardwood kitchen floors. I was told by other contractors that I needed to sand and refinish the entire house! I called David and he was able to sand and refinish just the area with water damage, and his color match was so good (using an artistic combination of several different stains) that you cant even tell where it was repaired. I HIGHLY recommend working with David at Triple Diamond Flooring, no matter the project, as he has shown to me that he is able to take on any job, and even get creative if need be, to give the customer exactly what they need within their budget.
