I initially joined Vibe for the barre, yoga, and mirror classes and childcare, but I've been surprised by how much I enjoy all of the strength/weight classes as well! I love having so many flexible options for working out each day. (Also, the people and general vibe at the gym are awesome!)

Such a VIBE. Weightlifting has never been so fun. The gym is clean stylish and easy to get to & parking seems to be no problem.

Unfortunately, like others, I had a difficult time trying to cancel my membership. I have an email thread of 14 emails from the last 4 months of me trying to cancel the membership. I only got a response via email after I messaged the Instagram page. I requested that my membership be set to not renew (since I purchased a year-long membership), meaning it ends on April 30. However, the online system set it to charge me on May 1 and when I emailed Meghan about changing this so that I would not be charged for a 13th month, she first said it would not charge me for May. But when I sent her a screenshot that she was incorrect, she "offered" to "adjust" it for me, as if she were offering to give me a month free. I understand the platform may be wrong or a mistake was made - just admit it instead of trying to blame it on me and get another month of membership out of me. The practice of cancelling this membership was a horrible experience and felt like a scam the entire time. I am still planning to check my credit card statement on May 1 to make sure I am not charged because I don't fully trust that it won't happen. For a place that bases itself wholly on being a safe space, this was disappointing, to say the least. You expect these things from a cheap national chain brand gym, not a gym that claims to care about its members and its place in the community. There is a reason businesses hire a manager to operate the business instead of the owner managing it, and I suggest Meghan do that. A couple other things: I found the people in the classes to be generally welcoming and inclusive, although there were times I felt a little out of place in a class, especially when I couldn't do something and had to modify. I also did not feel like there was a good enough range of classes, and the schedule was constantly changing. If an annual membership is going to be offered, there needs to be more consistency to make it worth it. I also was confused by the security of the facility. There were many times I would walk in and there was no staff present (at least not out front). The door was unlocked and right on the street. Although it is a safe area, I do not see how this is safe when childcare is offered in the building. I would also expect there to be staff there during the day to greet people coming in like most gyms.
