Montessori School of Washington Park

We are really happy with school. Personnel is very professional, director always responds and my daughter always wants to go to school. For me it's a good sign.

Having enjoyed being a part of the Montessori family in Phoenix, when we learned we were moving to Denver, we looked into schools and heard good things. They were very responsive and happy to take our money. Now our plans have changes (small matter of a global pandemic) and we are no longer able to move to Denver. After asking for some consideration, we have been given a one month reprieve on notice. So in total they have taken close to $4k dollars for the sum total of one call and a 30 minute tour. I fully appreciate that we signed an agreement to pay, but also believe you can tell the character of a person and an organization based on their response in a crisis and their compassion. Please consider that before you send your children here.

THIS SCHOOL IS AMAZING!  We have been so fortunate to have our kids at this school in both Toddlers and Primary.  The teachers are excellent, the administration (Ms Mary and Ms Danielle) are awesome, and the community has been fantastic.  Our kids have absolutely thrived at this school.  We have kept our children at MSWP for Kindergarten as well, because it is clear that the environment and education that they are able to receive during their Kindergarten year there far outweighs other options we explored via public or private schools in the area.

I was an assistant teacher for four years in the primary classroom. It was some of the best years of my life! This is an authentic Montessori school. All the teachers are committed to laying down a solid foundation for your child's educational career. Your child WILL leave MSWP with a love of learning! I often found myself wishing I grew up as a Montessori kid. I noticed that MSWP students tend to have better social skills & a very strong work ethic compared to other preschools I've worked at. Our classroom truly felt like a family. We had so many laughs & ah-ha moments. My favorite was seeing the huge smile on a kiddos face when they mastered a lesson! But even cooler was when that kiddo would be able to give that lesson to a younger student in the classroom. These classrooms are truly a 2nd home for your child. MSWP will always hold a special place in my heart and I plan on enrolling my daughter there as soon as she's old enough!

Caring teachers, safe environment. My children get so much out of the Montessori philosophy. Besides these, I love the community and the experiences I have shared with other parents.
