I love this place! My son is 3 and he actually enjoys going to the dentist. They are gentle and kind, I also feel as though they are honest with me about what needs to be done. He also loves getting his token to get a prize at the end. We never end up waiting long and it's easy to set up an appointment with them.

First, I'll start by saying that the practice has a bible verse right in your face when you walk in the door; very distasteful IMO. Second, the staff isn't exactly pleasant and they use too much force to complete what they see as the task at hand. My daughter is now terrified of the dentist, before this experience she was excited to see the dentist. So, in short, they failed at the main task which would be creating a favorable first impression of the dentist.Third, the patient area has absolutely no privacy what so ever! It's just rows of "tables" like a temporary triage center. It is a terrible atmosphere for a child. The pack 'em in and profit big mentality is obviously first priority here.

Dr. Cathers and every single staff member is so sweet and wonderful! My toddler was so scared about her first visit to the dentist but we have now been twice and every time we drive by the office, she happily points and says, "There's Dr. Cathers!" She now looks forward to going...to the dentist! This is ground-breaking!

Dr. Cathers has been my sons dentist since he was 2 and he is now 15. We would never go anywhere else. As far as the staff, they are amazing, as well. They have all been there for many years and are knowledgeable, kind to all the children, professional technique, professional attire and the keep the parents informed. Yes, it true that the tables are in a semi-circle but those seem to be for check-ups and cleanings. If the child needs anything more and may need to be sedated they are moved to a private room. My son grew up with Dr Calthers and his staff and I no complaints whatsoever. Frankly, I like seeing that bible verse not only there but anywhere I go. Its comforting to know that there are still people in this world that aren't afraid to let patients know they are a religious practice. I am a nurse practitioner and have worked with many doctors, surgeons, nurses, staff and the ones that do share their religious convictions with everyone just seem so happy and relaxed. Count me in as well as the many families I have referred to Dr. Cathers.

My children have been patience at this practice for about three years. We have always had a great experience until our last visit in July. I can say after this visit I will not return to this practice. My four year old has always been a little reluctant with any cleaning, but the Dentist has always been able to take time with her. Not on the visit my children had never seen Dr. killin before, right off the bat my four year old was not willing to lay back on the table. So she was forced by Dr. Killin to lay back which scared her and she started to scream and cry, which I know can be a problem. So rather then let her up and maybe try to clean her teeth another day they proceeded to push me out of the way have three adults hold her down to just clean her teeth. She was so upset she was screaming and crying for me, sweating, drooling and ended up spitting tooth past everywhere which the Dr. Was openly annoyed by. The whole experience was traumatizing to her, my seven year old on the table next to her and I. This whole thing could have been avoided if only maybe we tried again another day at this point I'm not sure it will every be an easy thing to get her to do. When working with small children maybe forcing them and restraining isn't the right method when there scared........
