SCAMMER!!! Do not contact Kenny. He came to do an evaluation, setup a board and train program for my dog, and took 935$ of deposit money and NEVER RESPONDED. Save yourself the hassle and money. DO NOT TRUST KENNY. He is a thief.

Update: Kenny ghosted us at the time of boarding and still owes us $1000. It's been months and he has yet to send us a full refund and is unresponsive.

My husband dropped our dog off for a scheduled weekend stay 10/22. Kenneth's wife informed my husband that Kenneth was in a serious health condition and most likely would not recover. We had payed for a weekend stay and also a month long board and train for 6/23. A few weeks later I tried to call to work out a refund but found out Kenneth had recovered. Kenneth has confirmed to me he will pay me back in full but after multiple attempts to work through payment out of court I still have not been refunded. Unfortunately I will have to work out a refund in court next month. I have seen other reviews with different reports on reasons for the mishandling of funds but am unsure what the truth is. Bottom line I would recommend for pet owners to look elsewhere.

We did a board and train program last year, and I would not recommend Kenny to anyone. Kenny seemed knowledgeable and trustworthy when we met, but it was all down hill after we dropped our dog off for a 4-week board and train. Our dog came back having developed a fear of the crate (i.e. was terrified to go in - even for meals which was never the case before especially for our extremely food motivated dog) and our primary concern of mouthing/nipping had substantially worsened. Kenny also promised to come to our house to teach us the techniques he worked with our dog on (arguably the most important part of the training). While we live 2 hours away - and it was very generous he initially offered to visit - he went radio silent after the program and we never received those follow-up trainings. We then received a slew of excuses after we followed-up several times. I understand life happens, but proactive communication to customers is so important - and Kenny lacked it the entire time. During the 4-week period, we received close to no updates - and the only updates we did receive I had to reach out multiple times (and they were extremely high level to the point it seemed like he could have been talking about any dog). Additionally, when I initially met Kenny he assured me a prong collar would not be used unless absolutely necessary -- and more importantly that he would inform us of use before doing so. While I understand the tools used to train dogs are up to his discretion, he verbally promised us it wouldn't be used unless communicated ahead of time. Not to mention, loose leash walking was our dog's strong area before he went into the program & overall he is a sensitive/anxious dog. When we picked up our dog a month later, he was wearing a prong collar and we did not receive any prior notice that Kenny was using it. As a result, our dog became SO much more anxious and reactive on leash -- which NEVER existed before we sent him to Kenny's. There are many more deeply concerning things that arose following our dog being in Kenny's care. A few months later, we took our dog to another board and train program recommended by the rescue agency we got our dog from -- and this one was only two weeks. Our dog came back happy, confident and the issues we discussed were all addressed -- plus we've had many facetimes and virtual follow-up trainings since. Leaving us to wonder what actually went on in Kenny's care... Take your dog elsewhere because this was an absolutely horrible experience.

Terrible experience!! We spent a lot of money and sent our dog away for 4 weeks for a half job. Kenneth was very unprofessional and continues to dodge my emails and messages. My puppy came home sick and we had to pay all the vet bills on top of his fees. My pups ribs were showing as well and I sent a 35 pound bag of food. He still owes us 4 one hour training sessions totaling $1000 according to his service agreement. He kept my pups leash and gentle leader totaling $40. Marijuana was being smoked when I got to a scheduled appointment with my 2 daughters present. His small business has put a stain on my future use of small businesses that don't have respect for people who patronize the business. ONE OF THE WORST MISTAKES EVER MADE!! FUR BABY PARENTS BEWARE!!
