City Mud is amazing! Ive taken three six-week courses and learned so much! Emily is patient, kind, and a great teacher. I had never done any pottery before, and Emily really took the time to walk through all the steps, answer questions, and provide support. I cant recommend it enough!! Its an amazing local studio and I will definitely be back!

My husband and I took a private pottery class at City Mud with Emily, and wow, it was so much fun! Emily is amazing at what she does - knowledgeable, passionate, patient, a clear communicator, and inspiring. The studio is super cozy and welcoming, filled with awesome pottery pieces that got us really excited to start. The class was the perfect mix of watching Emily do her magic and then getting our hands dirty. We had all the tools and clay we needed, which made everything smooth. Emily gave both of us one-on-one attention, helping us fix our mistakes on the fly. If youre curious about pottery or just looking for a fun experience, Emilys class at City Mud is the way to go. Youll definitely have a blast!

This place is wonderful. The classes are comprehensive and Kara does an amazing job and giving you hands on coaching. Emily was amazing in helping me coordinate made-up time after some last minute work travel came up. It is well worth the price.

Absolutely love CityMud. I have taken a few of the classes and my pottery skills have improved so much since I have started. I have learned so much from Emily, she always shares new tips and tricks and is willing to give me extra assistance if I get stuck. I always look forward to learning something new and hanging out with Emily and the others in class.

The owners have created such a special studio space in Denver! As someone who isnt naturally gifted with wheel throwing, Emily has been so helpful and Ive seen improvement in my practice. Thanks so much for all you do! We greatly appreciate it
