While in Denver for work, I went in to purchase a new pair of work boots. They were busy but made time for everyone. Zach and Char made sure everyone was being helped. I has to order the boots I wantedl. Zach made sure I knew the exact size by trying on the same boot in a different color.

Stopped in from out of town on a Sunday morning. Charlotte was working and was the most helpful and knowledgeable boot associate of all time. She was patient with me while I asked all of the questions, suggested trying various models based on the questions she asked me and even told me about some exciting new womens work boots coming soon. Then she moved onto the womens workwear there in store. I could have stayed all day. It was really nice to have a female who understands why I am asking the questions and its exciting to hear Danner is getting ahead of the womens fit game. Thanks Charlotte! Danner fan already, but now an even bigger one.

In a truly stupid moment, I wore the wrong boots out in downtown Denver in a snow storm. With cold wet socks and feet, I know a footwear change was mandatory. The gentlemen working at Danner were super friendly and helpful and I am thrilled with my new boots! Paired with a little black dress as we were heading to a show, my husband dubbed my new look Colorado chic!

Great customer service! I went in a few weeks ago wearing a well worn pair of Mountain 600 (not leaf) and was immediately helped with any questions I had. Knowing that the Mountain 600 Leaf is recraftable I had a lot of questions about them, as well as Mountain Light II. Both customer service representatives were very knowledgeable and helpful. Charlotte was very friendly and even said she enjoyed answering questions. What really surprised me was not only the lack of pressure to buy anything, but also the honesty when they informed me that the Mountain 600 (not leaf) may eventually be recraftable as well. Charlotte reiterated not to throw them away. Because my old pair of Mountain 600 may eventually be recraftable, I wanted time to consider other options and looked at the Mountain Light IIs. I did not purchase anything, yet I left feeling satisfied with the experience but still wanting a new pair of boots. For several weeks I've been reading about various recraftable Danner boots and have pretty much decided between Mountain 600 Leaf and the classic, durable, yet heavy, Mountain Light II. Today my phone's advertising algorithms worked and suggested an article about recraftable boots. It was then I learned about the Mountain 600 Evo. It seemed like exactly what I was looking for: hiker (with shank), acceptable color choice, considerably lighter than the classic Mountain Light II, but more supportive than the Mountain 600 Leaf, and my favorite aspect... recraftable. I called the store and asked if they had the Mountain Evo in stock. Jeffery said they did not, but immediately began mentally troubleshooting how I might still use the coupon I had by ordering online. I explained to him much of what I've mentioned above. He took my size, color, and phone number and said they'd call me when they get them in a couple weeks. Thank you to Charlotte and Jeffrey! Looking forward to coming and getting my new pair of Danner Mountain Evo. Edit: The store called me saying they have the Mountain 600 reserved in 2 sizes for me to try. I went to the store a few days later and everything about the experience was top notch. I bought the Mountain 600 Evo and some boot dressing. A few weeks later I planned to condition them, but looking at the jar of conditioner, I was confused, because it said "not for use on nubuc or suede." I just called the store again, and Charlotte gladly and knowledgeably answered all of my questions. Apparently the Mountain 600 Evo are full grain leather, and the Danner boot dressing they sold me is good. I really like the boots (although, I haven't had much chance to break them in). I'm extremely satisfied with the buying experience.
