Clayton LaBaume, PA-C - Physician Assistant

I have never had a doctor spend as much time educating me as Dr LaBaume did for me. I have severe osteoporosis and he has given me a thorough education about my options for treatment. He explained the condition, how it happens, the great risks of doing nothing, several different treatment methods, and side effects. He explained how long the medicine we chose has been in use. He explained everything in terms I could understand, but never talked down to me. He checked several times if I had questions so far. He was very caring and extremely knowledgeable. My highest recommendation!!!

I first saw Clayton about issues with my feet when he was a PA for Dr. Lucas at Mercy Orthopedic Associates. At that time he listened to my questions, was very knowledgeable about podiatric problems and would consult with Dr. Lucas when needed. Most recently I have seen Clayton about issues with osteoporosis. Again, he was very knowledgeable about this subject. He was thorough in his approach of not only slowing/arresting the progression of this condition but also the importance of diet, exercise and fall prevention. Clayton is like-able and easy to talk with. He listened to my concerns, addressed them appropriately and gave me a list of resources for more information. I now have a better understanding of this condition and what I should do to maintain my active lifestyle.
