Englewood Early Childhood Education at Maddox

They called and said they could not take my kids because our family philosophy does not match theirs? I am not sure what this means and what they are really teaching here and what kind of philosophy they have? I work on a national talk show and have already spoke to my producers and the news station. We are a biracal and blended family and want to make sure my kids are safe with someone who has them for 8 hours. I'm speechless to hear a public school say we do not have the same philosophy how do you know what we stand for and even more concerning to think they do not have good values you should be able to ask questions to the people who are teaching your children and feel like they are safe.

Update: my son now goes there since my daughter is in kindergarten. The new building is amazing and both my kids have had tremendous benefits from this school. More than we could hope for. The principle Ms. Leigh is very well educated in childhood development and the teachers follow her example of social and emotional learning. Wish my daughter could stay there forever.

Our son started here this past school year and it amazes me and my husband how far he has come. He loves interacting with his classmates and the staff on a daily basis. Always a joy picking him up and hearing all the new things he has learned and the new friends he has made. Fantastic school!!!!!!

We have had both of our children attend Maddox. We love the atmosphere, leadership, and security that goes into their education!
