Psychological Dimensions stigmatizes mental health care and alarmingly uses this care, past or present, against first responders. Their negative evaluations for those who have proactively sought mental health care in the past sends a chilling effect across departments to let our first responders know they must suffer in silence and isolation if they want to keep their livelihoods. By discouraging our most crucial workers from obtaining the support they require, we risk the well being of these individuals and, by extension, the very fabric of our public safety and services. If you care about your first responders, contact your representatives and implore them to not let your tax dollars go towards contracts awarded to Psychological Dimensions. If you are a first responder, contact your unions to negotiate contracts with service providers who dont endanger your life and the lives of your peers.

When I tell yall these people cost me an amazing career. I had a suicidal episode when I was 17 from bullying and teenage struggles, I was admitted into a behavioral health program for 5 days and havent had any struggles since . I was a teenager that made a dumb decision. Im 23 now and they literally denied me because of a bad decision. I didnt know it would affect my future and obviously they couldnt see how I matured with the thousands of questions they asked during my evaluation. Theyre going to hold everything against you and thats wrong instead of looking at your development now.

This company is extremely inconsistent and evasive. How can you pass someone the first time and deny them the second time when there has been no change in history. These therapists dont care to ask questions or follow up before cowardly denying someone.

O stars would be more accurate. They discriminate against disabled veterans. Their process to evaluate veterans is different than the evaluation of non-vets. The VA and other evaluation companies confirmed that this is their reputation. The Civil Service needs to stop using these people to decide who can be public safety officials ASAP.

My company requires a psych eval so that I may operate in a capacity that have already been functioning in for many years. These people are cold and I'm my opinion, unprofessional and evasive when asked direct questions. Their entire business seems to be based on academia with out any real world experience. If you are required to do a psych eval with these people, I suggest you choose to work for a different company. I would quit my job before going through this process again. This is manifested incompetence.
