La Junta Utilities Department

The City of La Junta won't accept my Visa card for paying my electric bill, though there's plenty of funds on it. They won't even accept payment at Walmart! Now I'll have to scramble to find a charity to help me out. Wish me luck on not getting my electricity shut off in the middle of winter.

Horrible people work here no consideration or human decency can be found here and they are always young you water and electric bill every month then they say they can look into it or fix it my bill was 336 and they added 500 to the top of that outta nowhere the next month and we werent home very awful place the city in itself is also awful lajunta co is a bad place to live

They moved deposit up to $300 + $35 activation fee. if ur renting (to protect the landlords) cost went up to $300 jan.1 2019 It use to be $100 deposit

The city of La Junta does not have a computer tracking system to assign work orders for customers that submit a work request . I had put in a work request for the asphalt in front of my driveway. The lady at the desk used a notebook to list the request. Customers who put in request should be assigned a work order at the time of submission, so that the customer can use it as reference. La Junta needs to improve customer service.
