        We did a half day ride with my daughters (11 and 14 years). The scenery was magnificent. Beautiful ride through aspen forest. Highly recommended!

        Choose this outfitter! Last year we rode horses in Breckinridge where we rode with a massive group of people led by teenaged guides. Halfmoon packing is a beautiful drive from Breck just outside of Leadville. The guides are experienced cowboys that know and care for all of the horses. Our family of five rode alone with our guide "Drifter" who was very attentive to our needs, especially my wife who is pretty uncomfortable on a horse. Highly, highly recommend Half Moon....look no further.
