When requesting all financial documents from Clive he was very evasive and didnt produce everything. Very shady business. . .

Very unprofessional, rude, and takes forever to file your taxes. Also, he messed up my child tax credit almost 3 times. Thats about 5,000, and acts very childish when confronted about charging me for his error. Apparently, in his world, its acceptable to take 3 years to accurately file someones taxes, and then charge them double for amending those taxes when it was his error that caused the issue. I dont owe the IRS anything, yet because of his mistakes their records show I owe them the money from the tax credits I never received. Should be good after this year and the amended returns are accepted, but its shocking that someone believes this is an acceptable business practice. My manager from my last job used Clive as well, but he also had similar issues with Clive messing up his finances, and taking 6 months to do his taxes, so he too went elsewhere. Ive used an accountant every year for 20 years and never had an issue until I met Clive. Funny thing is, my finances are not even complicated, and I fear for anyone with actually complex taxes using someone like him. To top it off, hes rather childish and has the maturity of a toddler, especially if you inform him youre not paying him for messing up your finances. -5 stars if possible.
