Pro Desk at The Home Depot

I just had the most frustrating experience at this store. I had called first to see how to place an order for items that are unavailable in the store, I can't do it online and get my military discount. I was told to come in and place the order so they could do the discount. I wouldn't normally care so much for 10% but when ordering hundreds of dollars worth of bathroom stuff it makes a big difference! So I went in and the customer service lady was so confused and eventually said her website was down so she couldn't do the order...even though I showed her on my phone it was in fact functioning. So I tried a regular cashier and they said they weren't sure how to do that and to call the "dot com" number...which I left and dialed right when I got to my car. After explaining my situation, the gentleman said to hang on and he'd have to figure out what to do, since only the stores do the discount... after holding for 5 minutes the line connected back to the main Home Depot line. Why is this so hard Home Depot!! Wow, just wow!

It's been a nightmare since the day we made an order for cabinets on 5/7/16. The "Pro Desk" promised to keep up informed on the status of the order and delivery date. None of that happened. Not only was our order delayed nearly 3 weeks without explanation, but I have called the store over a dozen times trying to get answers. Associates either don't know what's going on or are to busy to care. I have been mysteriously disconnected multiple times as well. I will never do this again with home depot. They have out $ now, so we have to keep fighting them to get our stuff delivered.
