City of Lone Tree Building Department

This is hands down the best building department to work with in the front range. Kudos to Audra Gerber, Jim Beaver, and Matt Archer for always going above and beyond.

My company has built hundreds of decks in Douglas County. Matt Archer has always been one of the most courteous building department officials that we have worked with. He always takes care to keep business moving at a steady pace for contractors and homeowners while still enforcing code. Lone Tree also has several common sense rules and regulations that allow for ease of business.

I had a complete HVAC system (Furnace and A/C) replaced at my house. This required a Lone Tree Residential Mechanical Permit pulled by the contractor and final inspection. After the project was completed Lone Tree send out Inspector Bill Pataluna to inspect the completed project. Bill was very professional and mentioned several safety features that the installer incorporated into the project. He also commented the on why the contractor placed venting and electrical components where they had and on the quality of the install, as well how these features brought my HVAC system up to code. These features, Bill explained would serve me well in the future when the water heater would need to be replaced. Bill is a knowledgeable inspector and I'm glad he was sent to inspect my new HVAC system.
