Our staff member was very complimentary of you and was thankful you apologized for your wife's behavior. She did not mention any issues with you personally. Moving forward, we have been unable to reach you. You left behind a Roku remote in your room. We have it at the front desk. Best wishes.

Ms. Parnell, we are regretful to get this review. After speaking with 2 of the staff members you had interactions with and reviewing our video, it definitely went bad from the beginning when the credit card you presented to guarantee your room was declined. When my first staff member reached out to you to get a good card you were upset then hung up on him only to call back, apologize and provide a new one. You then thought you had secured booking another day to your reservation and upon review of our system, you had not paid for that room as originally thought. The staff member then told you that you had to come to the front desk to pay and you became upset because you did not want to come to the front desk and it was check out time. To be clear, we can no longer process credit cards without the card in hand due to credit card compliance rules as we must chip or swipe the card for each transaction. You became belligerent and disrespectful to my staff member who finally broke down and did in fact lose her temper with you. She is a wonderful employee who gets great reviews and she has been spoken to about how important it is to remain calm when we have an upset guest. We are quite perplexed at your review in the fact you are telling people not to stay here when in fact you extended your stay. Villa Motel has been in Manitou for 40 years and yes, we do make mistakes and have bad days, but our reviews and the longevity of our reputation stands firm. We do understand that Villa Motel is not a good fit for you moving forward and we completely understand. We do wish you the very best!
