As per our conversation, Mr Long was informed as to what needed to be done to get the vehicle started that had been sitting for awhile in your auto trailer.Per Mr long, the vehicle had not been started for awhile ( 5+ years). He had a buyer for the vehicle so we need to get it started and back to running shape to sell. Once dropped off we were told that the battery wiring was not hooked up . After a quick review it was clear that the battery wiring was was in total disarray. The wiring was shorted out, no cable ends it was a complete mess. so that was repaired back to factory standards for a rear trunk mount battery.so we proceed to do repairs as stated per conversation.we changed oil which was milky due fuel contamination and condensation in oil system. refilled with factory spec oil and filter. the we proceeded to remove spark plugs from engine in turn were rusty from fuel contamination . we sprayed each cylinder with p&b blaster oil penetrate to lubricate upper piston rings to help loosen them before start up. installed all new factory style plugs one step colder per Mr Long.then we proceeded to drain fuel system to remove e 85 contaminated fuel .so we did and also put 5 gallons of new e85 furl and ran thru system before starting vehicle.so now its time to start vehicle after rotating engine by hand. At first it was very hard to turn but we did get it rotating easy enough to try to start vehicle.when it did start is would run for about 20 to 30 seconds a few times until it wouldn't turn anymore by starter of vehicle. At that point we verified the was not a starter problem by rotating by hand only to find the motor had seized. We had a visit from the potential buyer Dwayne Nunez who had told us that he had went and look at vehicle a week prior. he stated when the owner started the vehicle it shut immediately and would every time it was started it continued to roll over slower and slower. This was done with the oil that had been in the car for years of storage which was contaminated with water condensation (by product of running E85) in the system which is very bad and can lead to rust in the engine cylinders as well as metal on metal friction in the bearings causing engine to seizing up in which this one did.If we had been told of this vital very pertinent information this diagnosis would have gone a completely different direction. This was left out by Mr Allen Long . Mr Dwayne Nunez can testify to all this per his and our recollection.. Leaving out vital information like this can lead to money spent in the wrong direction especially when a shop is not informed of know pre existing issues. Rowdy Performance and Machine
