Mountain States Restoration,LLC | Water Damage Restoration Pueblo

I wanted to give a huge shout out to all the folks at Mountain States Restoration. We recently had water damage on our ceiling. The repairs and restoration work done looks absolutely Amazing. They were the nicest people I'd ever met and communicated everything I needed to know. As I was ignorant to this entire process, we could not be happier with the work done. I can honestly say our living room, dining room, and spare room looks brand new. I highly recommend if you need any work done, these are the folks to call. Josie Martinez, Pueblo, CO, the State Farm adjuster on my claim recommended I call Mountains States for restoration on my commercial building. Joe Hockett came on 9/23/22 and did an inspection and said he would only send the estimate to Josie Martinez, not to me (even though I called him and I am the insured). In multiple emails to Josie Martinez over the course of the next FIVE months, I asked if she had received the estimate from Joe Hockett. No response. She finally had to come back to the building and when I asked her in person, she just said something to the effect of Joe didn't have time for the project. Today, 1/19/24 I called Mountain States and they confirmed he did not do estimate. It would have been nice of Josie Martinez or Mountain States let me know immediately. 25 months after my roof blew off, I am still fighting with Josie Martinez and State Farm to pay for all the damages. I would not recommend doing business with a contractor who is tight with adjusters and therefore do not recommend Mountain States Restoration or State Farm/Josie Martinez for that matter.

My experience with this company was horrible. First Joe came out due to standing water in the dining area and standing water in the basement. Not honest on his report as he told me he found little mold when he pulled the baseboard in the dining area. Then pointed out and said "if you need ammunition" this was in the linen closet and hall closet informing me that there was a chimney behind the walls, I had no idea. Wow then puts none of that in his report. Mold is serious! Then I was harassed not once but twice by Jerry coming to my place of employment which he had no business what so ever. In checking in on my blind/deaf dog which is my baby, I see Jerry pick her up and put her in either the spare bedroom or the bathroom. Then when he let her out it was heartbreaking because she could not find her way back to the couch where she lays during the day, she was so disoriented. Jerry came back bringing his grandson, not acceptable to be bringing whoever into my home. They are there to do a job not give tours. Next again I checked on my dog and I see Jerry and two guys removing the big air dryers going through my dining room even after they were told to go straight out the backdoor. I watched them damage my furniture by running into it with the big silver dryer, dents and scratches. How unprofessional and dishonest that they just leave and NEVER said a word about damaging my furniture. Looked for another company if you want professionalism and honesty.
