Mark L. Schomer, MD

Dr. Schomer is excellent to work with, through multiple visits. He was one of the few doctors that took notes and asked serious questions while we were discussing my child's long term health issues. He truly seemed interested in helping us, unlike a lot of people we worked with over the years. He reviewed and looked at my child's medical history over the past several years, which is no small task (which is something not many people have done), and provided recommendations regarding a course of action. He was able to explain complex issues in a clear fashion to us. We had some follow-up questions and concerns and those were answered promptly. We wish we had found him earlier. We would recommend Dr Schomer to anybody looking for a pediatric Neurologist who really is concerned about the well being of their children..

We first met Dr. Schomer when my son was admitted to the PICU from the emergency room. We were terrified and had no idea what was happening with our son. Doc was very patient and went through the history and was honest with us that he did not know what was wrong. He explained the testing he thought we should do and the pros and cons of each. We saw him in his office the next week where he again took lots of time with us and reviewed our case and recommended next steps. He didnt talk down to us and didnt make us feel like our questions were stupid. We would definitely recommend him and the entire team at CCMC.

Dr Schomer has provided the best possible care for my child with a rare disease; he is supportive, knowledgeable and makes great suggestions for ongoing care! And, hes down to earth and funny!

He is absolutely awful. I would not recommend this doctor at all.
