Absolutely terrible experience with Odesa Builders. They missed the appointment time TWICE and they dont even give you the courtesy of letting you know theyre running behind or an issue has arose that is going to delay them. They call you after the time frame they initiated and just expect you to reschedule. As a business, communication with clients shouldnt be that difficult. I am not sure why they are the preferred partners with Home Depot but Im reaching out to corporate to file a formal complaint. This behavior is disgusting and from the looks of the rest of the reviews, Im not the only one theyve screwed over.

Everything from measuring to installation was done on time. Quality of door installation and professionalism of installer was great.

Inability to get the job done. Have been told for the last 2 months that a simple measurement (HxWxD) for a storm door was forthcoming. After 3-4 calls, each time told it should be done in a day or two. Save your time and find a contractor that wants the business and can get the job done - in your lifetime.

After an error with my order at Home Depot and a long wait for my front door, Odessa Builders called me to schedule my install for August 30, 2023. The appointment was cancelled due to heavy rain. I called in to reschedule and was offered September 4th....Labor Day. On the day of my install, Gabriel called me early that morning to let know he was coming to do the install. Before arriving, he called me from Home Depot and made sure my order was correct. Once he arrived, he advised that job would take about 4 or 5 hours. Even though it was a holiday and extremely hot that day, he was professional during the whole process. He also took the time to call me outside when he unpackaged my door. I was pleased with his work and he made me feel valued as a customer.

My experience with Odessa Builders was an absolute nightmare. First of all, they are ridiculously priced. $1400 to put a slider door in (the door was just a few hundred of that $1400) is highway robbery. I set my appointment with them for an arrival time between 8-10am. They showed at noon and were unable to do the job because of an issue with the condo association needing to give permission (my bad). They weren't too upset about this. I made an appointment for about a month from that point. I called the office to schedule this new appointment and was told they can do between 8-10am once again. It rained a little bit that morning and at 830am, it was beautiful out. Yet, they decided to call and cancel because they chose to do another job indoors. I was not happy. I called and made an appointment for 2 weeks from then with another 8-10am arrival window. I received an email confirming the date/time. It was 10am and they hadn't yet showed, so I decided to call the office. I left a voicemail and an hour and a half later, still no call back. I decided to call again and the lady in the office said she just got in and hadn't checked voicemails yet (its 11:30am! what?). I told her my tenant is still waiting for them to arrive. She says they didn't have me in the schedule!! I was irate and said I wanted my $ back and wanted to cancel the job. We decided to set another appointment up for a week later, same arrival time. It rained a little bit, so they canceled again. A week later they finally came and tried to sell me more unnecessary work (something about removing the entire deck...). I was told that Vladimir would consider refunding some of my money back since the whole experience was a disaster. I'm still waiting & not holding my breath. Safe to say, I will never use them again and if anyone ever asks about them, I will tell them this horror story. Stay away! In response to the reply made by the business owner: I did not lie about one thing I posted. You contradicted yourself several times in your own reply. This makes you seem very shady and not honest at all. You said you didn't take a penny from me, but then go on to say you get a portion of the labor. You get all of the labor because Home Depot said the labor rate is your own and you get the money for all of the labor. Also, the first time you came, you were 2 hours past the 8-10am window you initially gave. I did not ask for permission from the condo association, that was my fault. I acknowledged that and you were there for less than an hour so there is NO way it cost you $300 to take the door out and pop it back in. It took 45 minutes for all of it. Give me a break, your labor rates are high but not THAT high! I never told anyone that I was taking time off from my job to meet you at the condo. Every single time I talked to Valerie, I told her my tenant and friend would be there on his day off, so I'm not sure why even lie about that fact. Finally, a couple times it rained BEFORE the 8-10am window I was given and stopped shortly before 8 or just after and I was told my appt was canceled. That's ridiculous. It took months to get a damn slider door in. You have many bad reviews for a reason. Your company sucks. You are not honest, prompt, affordable or good at what you do. Home Depot really needs to cut bait and find a new door company to work with.
