        5 stars because of Jay at the front desk - we were in town for a funeral and checked in late at night. He was so sweet and accommodating - even upgraded us because our room was sold out. Honestly wasnt expecting that at a HI in the middle of CT. Jay is the definition of great customer service, far exceeding service weve received at 5 star city hotels. Outside of that, rooms are clean - its still a HI and youre still in Farmington, CT though.

        Robert was gracious to take time at the end of his night audit to make sure I had thr right first aid supplies to deal with a cut on my foot. I later found out it was his birthday. He was very gracious as were all of the Front Desk staff during my stay. Thank you!

        Really nice hotel. Didn't care for the manufacturered eggs but oatmeal welcomed. Quit providing zero fat yogurt which doesn't provide enough protein. Wish the hotel would put sign up and request guests to wear appropriate attire for breakfast. Unacceptable to see guests in pajamas or worse while we were trying to enjoy our breakfast. Breakfast room was bright and cheerful. Background music overpowered the news on the televisions. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. Thank you.
