Hello America.. I say America because in want the whole country to know about my Great Experiance with John Deere.. All because of an associate by the name of David Eaton..Ive known David for about 30 years.. Our friendship was based on our passion for machinery and farm equipment Vintage and new.. over the years we converced often about well made equipment..On December 5th i came to the dealership to inquire about a JD3033R tractor not looking to buy... After spending 30 minutes listening to Davids passion and believe in this machine i walked out of the dealership as an Owner.... Cant believe how much i love this Tractor.....

Im leaving this unfortunate review to make sure customers understand the risk of buying John Deeres products associated with the 30 second Easy Change oil can replacements. I had an incident this fall where the oil can fell out of its locked position, which resulted in oil leaking everywhere except in the engine causing it to seize. I have an E130, so the replacement engine (of a unit that is two years old) cost around $1.6K. Mind you, the replacement of the oil can is a very simple twist on and off and I didnt have any issues over the two years. I did my normal routine of double checking the can and tugging on it to ensure it was safely in its position before starting the mower, so I believe to have received a faulty product resulting in the failure of my engine. On top of the frustrations with the product, I have had a worse time with their corporate customer service. My two options after this incident were to pay the invoice to get my machine back for the rest of the season and work with customer service for some type of reimbursement or to dispute the invoice and not see my mower until this was resolved. I obviously needed my mower back given the timing, but the customer service rep told me that my order of operations was problematic. I was also berated with a lot of skepticism of my complaint, receiving multiple subtle hints that I did not screw a can in properly. The advice that I was provided with was to have their service team perform the oil changes going forward. The whole marketing of this product is to be Easy Change, which obviously implies any residential household regardless of their experience with tractors can change their oil. Well, their advice is to pay them more money to do it going forward so the liability is out of my hands. I strongly advise potential customers to avoid this product going forward if their customer support and their service teams are both contradicting their products marketing!

After owning a John Deere 855 Compact Diesel tractor for 33 years (bought new in 1991) I decided it was time to upgrade. The 855 has been a remarkably reliable machine that has enable me to care for my property myself. United Ag&Turf Farmington (previously Farmington Valley Equipment) has provided superb service over the years. Having decided to buy a new tractor, I had no question about which brand to buy and who to buy it from. Dave Eaton has been my sales guy at United Ag/FVE for years. He promptly composed a sales agreement for a new JD 2032R with loader, mower deck, snow plow and backhoe. I agreed to the reasonable offer and within about a week the equipment was delivered to my home. Dave made the transaction flawless and has provided superb support. He even came to my home to help me with an issue I couldnt figure out from the manuals. I am optimistic that the 2032R will be as useful and reliable as the 855. Already its obvious how much easier it is to use. Changing implements was the main challenge for me on the 855. The JD engineers have designed the 2032R beautifully. I highly recommend John Deere products and United Ag&Turf Farmington. Dave Eaton in Sales and Bill Papeleo in service have been superb to work with. Mitch Gilbert, Farmington CT
