Starling Physicians: Christopher Betz, DO

Dr. Betz diagnosed me with osteoarthritis in both hips and my treatment options were for me to seek the most expensive treatments where he was either an investor or part owner of. If he suggests stem cells or Lazer therapy so not do either. Find a second opinion. He told me that no doctor would do a hip replacement because of my age (39) and gel, and injections were my only options. Stem cells were $5000 and Lazer therapy was $50 a session for 10 sessions. All of which he received a profit for. I was still in pain and he wanted me to make it another 10 years. I ended up seeing a physical therapist who recommended an amazing doctor who took one look at my X-rays and said not only do I have osteoarthritis in both hips (his diagnosis) but I also have a partial collapsed hip and cysts all over both hips. She immediately got me in for 2 total hip replacements. I had one successful right hip replacement and waiting on my left. My opinion is to seek any other doctor.
