They do nothing but spend money and take membership dues. They stopped caring years ago. Head in the sand management.

The Annual Arts on the Avenue was a night of tasty food and libations coupled with artists' works on display. We repeated our new route from last year, starting on East Putnam Avenue and never getting down the Avenue. Wonderful music. We spent a long time at First Bank of Greenwich and ended the evening on the back patio of The Little Shop Around the Corner on Church Street. One of many Chamber traditions bringing out the entire community.

If you missed this month's Sidewalk Sales Days sponsored by the Chamber, you missed some great buying opportunities. As a rep based in Greenwich for a client covering many states, I foresee 3-5 sales at a minimum resulting from our participation. Marcia O'Kane, Executive Director of the Chamber, stopped by twice during the event, as did the organizer from TMK Sports & Entertainment, Tammy Ketler. On her first visit, Marcia was wearing a dress bought at last year's sales days. Do as I do! Great example. Think global, buy local. Maintain the American Dream of business ownership.
