Genevieve Schettino recently helped us to find and purchase our forever home in Darien, CT. Gen is very knowledgeable about the area and characteristics of different schools/home associations. Genevieve always answered our questions or concerns quickly and thoroughly. She walked us through each step of the process and made buying our new home as smooth a process as possible. When issues came up with inspection, she sought out local experts to remedy the situation. She was an effective negotiator and she was thoughtful about taking our opinions into consideration. It was certainly an added bonus that her husband is an architect and it was extremely helpful to have him look at our potential new home with us as he was able to confirm that our vision was possible within our budget. Although we havent listed our current home yet, when it is time to do so, we will certainly be working with Genevieve again as she is a very smart and trustworthy person. Gen helped sell of our home of 23 years in Darien, and helped us find another home in Fairfield County. She is everything you could ask for in someone to represent us and our needs to potential buyers and sellers: knowledgeable, responsive, collaborative...and fun to work with! She went out of her way to be sure we were all comfortable with the process and expectations, which included our adult daughter and three dogs! Her efforts to help us prepare the house for showing were above and beyond our expectations, making us feel we were her only clients although we know she was extremely busy with others in this busy market.

Working with Genevieve could not have been a better experience. As a first time home buyer she walked us through every step of the process and moved everything along at lighting speeds with an accepted offer in under 24 hours and under contract within days. The entire process could not have gone smother she was on top of everything from the get go and still 2 months after closing is still checking in and helping with any questions that we send her way. Just last week she went to town hall to have them dig up an old site survey needed for a permit we were applying for. Kind, Respectful and overly committed to her clients, I would recommend working with Genevieve to anyone looking for their first or next home.
