Aura at City Crossing

Lived here for over a year. It was nice, but the finishing made it way over priced. Floors were literally not centered. Elevators were comically slow. Not sure how anyone who's considered this a 5 star place

Unfortunately Im leaving this place extremely disappointed. We had countless issues with management beginning when the lost our move in check which was a cashiers check! I spent months trying to order a new one and jumping through hoops. They admitted to losing it yet I had to do all the work to get a new one. Also they tried to charge us incorrectly through the online portal on multiple occasions. I reached out to management about the issues, but you wont get a prompt response; youll probably be waiting over a week to hear back from anyone. The garage was broken into as well which is incredibly disappointing when Im paying 150 dollars a month. I can go on and on with the issues Ive had at Aura. But the cherry on top was when I moved out and left a spotless unit and they said they charged a 215 dollar cleaning fee. This was despite the place being left completely clean that morning. This was of course only disclosed upon move out. My recommendation is to look elsewhere for housing in New Haven.

I highly recommend the Aura at City Crossing! I was looking for a full service luxury building that is near the Yale medical school, downtown attractions, but also still in a quiet and very safe area - Aura was a perfect fit! The lease process was quick and seamless and building management has been incredibly helpful every step of the way through move-in and while settling into my new unit. I knew the amenities were great but omg I did not realize just how convenient! Im obsessed with the complex gyms including on demand yoga classes, and the various lounges and study rooms that I utilize way too often. I also enjoy my private reserved parking space and the building concierge services that are always looking to offer a helping hand for anything I may need. Ill be in New Haven for the duration of my PhD and I dont plan on living anywhere else!
