Had to do some work at the Mohegan Sun. The staff here was very friendly and helpful, great location.

Upon check-in, we experienced a major inconvenience in their card terminal not working properly resulting in us being charged on our end yet it not processing on their end. The assistant manager did not do everything in her power to help us and began to get snappy instead. We were forced to wait in the lobby for upwards of 45 minutes until we came to a resolution. After getting into a room everything was okay. The pillows are extremely flat so I recommend bringing your own if you plan to stay here. The biggest issue we faced was the lack of communication and predatory business practice AFTER we checked out and had left the area. My wife had accidentally dropped some blush make-up powder onto the floor and we didn't have enough time to clean it up since we had a train to catch back home. A cleaning fee is normal. Incidentals are normal. But they attempted to pull $2500 from the card on file without any heads up. When speaking to someone they claimed there was "paint" from the bed to the AC (which was entirely false) and that the carpet had to be replaced thus the charge. Then, when speaking to the manager of the hotel, she acknowledged that the make-up was dropped in one spot but claimed that it had embedded into the fibers of the carpet. This claim had come after she said that they planned to replace the carpets beforehand anyways. You do not attempt to charge someone $2500 without a heads up or a phone call first of all. And you cannot expect someone to be your funds to replace a carpet you were already planning to replace. It's make-up. The stuff comes out. Definitely will not be staying here again.

The room was nice, cute. The staff is very nice, attentive and friendly. The shuttle and the shuttle driver Jim were convenient, entertaining, and safe. The contental breakfast was good. Lots to choose from. Having a room near a cemetery was a bit daunting but quiet. (lol) The only downfall was someone stole our license plate off the back of our SUV 8n their parking lot... Unfortunately, there's NO CAMERAS in the parking lot. We reported it. That was the only "moment" we had.

Rooms: Nothing special. Expected more from a Hilton Noteworthy details: Good free breakfast every morning. Nice indoor pool Staff was great!!
