James Oliveri has done my taxes for over 15 years. He handles my business and personal taxes, and assists with other financial matters. He is very professional, and friendly. His advice and guidance has been valuable in helping me grow my business. James is always there when I have a question, and responds within 1-2 business days. I highly recommend his services.

James Oliveri started off great and was pretty helpful/decent. It's clear that as he grew with higher profile clients he has neglected other clients who are more straightforward and non-complex as they don't make him as much money. He was late in our filings, causing us penalties, he filed incorrectly for our GA return, causing more liability, he refused to correct mistakes or advocate for us and we were unable to contest the GA ruling, and then he became aggressive threatening to send us to collection agencies if we didn't pay his fee. Overall, I wouldn't recommend, he does what he's supposed to (eventually) but he required constant reminders and will leave you frustrated. UPDATE: In response to the owner's comments I have amended the review to be more reflective of his POV as he made some valid points. However, it is disingenuous for him to imply that he was without blame. I have emails reminding him to submit our filings and asking where we are at with no response. He also paid some of the fine as an admission that he was partly to blame for the late filings. I do not believe that called GA state to advocate on our behalf, I did, and I still am. I have emails from him declining to do so. I feel my review stands true, he will provide great service initially, but it is likely to deteriorate over time, which corroborates with the other reviews left here.

I was struck by the incompetence of the owner Mr OLIVERI who could not file on time my sales tax payment causing $155 late fee. My company incurred a name change and twice the papers came back after filing for a name change for not being filled out properly . My Quickbooks files were completely erroneous and could not be used to file my taxes. I had to fire the accountant and hire a new one. I had redo the books and spent myself a lot of hours to look at the bank accounts page by page since the Quickbooks was totally useless . I was forced to pay a hefty bill ($2690 for the Quickbooks) otherwise they were going to turn me in to a collection agency and I was buying an apartment at the time. I had to comply or I would have had a strike against me.
