Three cheers for Rob, who saved Christmas by restoring my water! My pipes froze on Christmas Eve and, depsite the holiday rush, Putnam Plumbing was incredibly quick in sending someone over to help. Rob was extremely responsive and somehow managed to get water flowing again quickly, despite a very very frozen pipe! He is great and truly saved the day! I'm so grateful. We were having issues with our guest shower faucet; so I called to schedule an appointment. I left a voicemail and nobody returned my call. I called back on a different day and spoke to Will. He was pretty rude as if I was interrupting his day, but we got the appointment scheduled.
John was a fantastic plumber: worked quickly and told me that we needed to replace a part which he could order for us.
Will called me to schedule the installation, and I asked him how much it would cost. Said he would have to call me back. He calls me back a little while later and quoted me a ridiculous price for the part itself (labor not included). It was double the price of what I could get it for on my own. I expressed my concern about the price being so high, but he wouldn't come down. Because of the pricing of the part on top of him being so rude throughout the whole process, I am choosing to work with another plumber. Sad to say this as John is a great plumber. I'm not sure about the several 1 star reviews for this company, but I've yet to have any bad experience or subpar issues with Putnam Plumbing.
I've read some of the reviews, and a couple folks said they are rude, etc. I'm not sure I've ever met a plumber who wasn't a little rough around the edges or slightly gruff, and I say that out of kindness and with a smile on my face.
The woman who works there in accounts receivable / reception / administration is really kind as well.
We use them for our commercial space in Harbor Point, and I hope our services with them continue to be 5 star.
