Worst run property I can imagine. The water has lead in it, there's mice in the units, power outages and no insulation. On top of all this these people try and screw you over every chance they get. DO NOT LIVE HERE

Wasn't too great, but it wasn't exactly horrible. I'd says it's meh.

This apartment complex was not good to start, and has only gone down hill even more so. The current company who owns this complex is called CT Lineage, and their website is filled with pictures of nice apartments that are modern and pleasant. This representation is completely incorrect. Get ready to sign waivers acknowledging the lead pain in the apartments, as well as the asbestos that somehow doesn't insulate the paper thin walls at all. If it gets windy expect to have a whistling throughout your apartment as the wind briskly enters your small domicile. Everything in these apartments is wood, with wood paneled walls, old wooden cabinets, wood laminate counter, wood everything. It's got a weird hunter cabin feel where it could almost be cozy if it weren't so dingy and had less random holes, scratches and just a general film of filth that somehow covers everything. The new company went about and said they were going to make the apartments energy efficient and insulate everything in partnership with Eversource. The company simply put in new light bulbs in some fixtures which were slightly better than the previous ones, not addressing anything to do with insulation or the terribly inefficient baseboard heating which can be described as spotty at best. This will lead to winter electric bills in the $200 plus category just to keep an apartment in a mild winter at 60 degrees. CT Lineage also seems to send out letters every other week with new rules or restrictions for the tenants, so no idea what new tenants past mid 2017 will deal with. Prior to this posting, rent was $855 per month for an upstairs apartment, and $825 for a downstairs apartment in a year long lease which was acceptable for the terrible service and apartments that are presented, you get what you pay for. This new company is now increasing rent from that previous number to $975 a month for old tenants. On the Off-Campus Housing website these apartments are listed for $1,250 and I am terrified for anyone who comes in on that price point. This company claims there is a great welcoming community that is inviting to undergraduate students, but the complex is a mix of undergrads, graduates, and just everyday people, all equally represented. This isn't some young hip apartment complex like they want you to believe. Someone tried to plan a BBQ "block party" to get to know everyone, but management threatened them with the cops if they continued with their plans. This block party wasn't supposed to be some rager, but instead a pleasant get to know you, and it was crushed with force. That just shows the sort of welcoming community this company promotes. If you feel like living with barely working appliances from a generation ago, poor insulation, paper thin walls, piss poor water pressure and hardly hot water, it's a great fit. Honestly it was fine for me to deal with because of the price point, but jacking the price up 15% for prior residents, and seeing listings on Off-Campus housing for $1,250 is insane. Nothing works, they do nothing to make things work, and the rules seem to be shifting as time goes on. Nothing about these apartments are stable, nothing about them is flattering, and the only thing going for them was the low price, but now that's gone too. Please consider other dwellings before this, and if you consider this place look for any resident you see and ask for their horror stories of their apartment or management.
