terrible company to work for, period

This company is cheap. If you enroll Someone in a policy they only giving you $10 allll that talking we have to do just to get $10 they dont give you any residuals only thing I can say the people there is nice but its not far we have to talk so much only for $10 my last company every application we did was $50 I just dont understand how they make thousands off one sale but only give us $10 out of it

In November of 2023 I contacted this company to see about getting some health insurance. The representative I have been working with is Tim Lasker. Tim told me that I had a tax credit of nearly $1000 to use towards insurance. I was thrilled!!! I prepaid a fee for dental and vision at that time. I was told that my insurance would not start until January 1st, 2024. Fast forward to 2024. I've been to the dentist and had a wonderful experience!! I have a vision appointment coming up, hopefully it will be as great as the dental. However, The health care part, the part I needed the most has been a complete nightmare!!!!! Tim put me with Ambetter. Come to find out none of the doctors Health Care One has listed as accepting new patients are actually accepting new patients. I contacted several and was told by every single one that they are no longer accepting new patients. Apparently Ambetter is not a highly desirable company to work with. So I contacted Tim MULTIPLE times, left him messages about this and my needing him to help me find a company that actually has doctors that will accept new patients and doctors that want to work with the next company he recommends. Tim NEVER returns my calls so I began asking for help from anyone that answered the phone. That didn't work either, they only wanted to refer me back to Tim. They told me they would leave him a message. They always knew my name and information before I gave it to them which told me a lot!!!! So here I am in April of 2024 with NO DOCTOR and I really need to get into the doctor. I haven't been in a long time, I'm almost 61 and have a couple of concerns. This company from what I can tell only wants the tax credit from the government. Once they have that, you are on your own and basically screwed. When I called this morning 4-9-2024 I told Tim that if I didn't hear from him this time I will be trying to find his manager to make a complaint. I have serious doubts that anyone there cares so I feel like I'm wasting my time and efforts but they've been paid and need to be held responsible for providing me the help with insurance and getting a good doctor that the promised they would.

I really wanted to share my experience with Chantal Schurtan a wonderful representative for the company. My first interaction with her started a couple years ago. I have never had such a caring responsive experience when it came to choosing the best health insurance plan for my needs!! She listened to what I was looking for and really took the time to get me the most affordable insurance plan that met all my criteria. She really took her time to compare so many different plans and found the right one for me!! I am so happy with the choice and the great care Im experiencing with my doctors and facility. I owe it all to Chantal! Navigating this process on my own was nearly impossible! I want to take this time to acknowledge how much of an asset Chantal is to the company!! It is people like her who listen and show empathy for ones needs that set her apart from the rest. Thank you so much Chantal I truly appreciate your hard work and I hope you are recognized internally because youre awesome! I wish everyone was as professional and kind as you are!! -tm-
